Esther Brings Hope!

Have you ever stood up for what you believed was right? Have you ever challenged authority because they were wrong? Have you ever followed God’s leading? Why is it important to follow God’s plan for a situation. Let’s look at how God has taught about Esther and why she brings me hope.

I am amazed at the story of Esther. It is a story of deceit, betrayal, percussion, love, and strategy. First we find that one of the Kings trusted advisor Haman wants power. He will use anything to get it. He also hates the Jews and wants to wipe them off the map. He lies to the king and gets him to agree to his strategy to abolish the Jews. But along comes Esther, “The young woman had a beautiful figure and was lovely to look at” Esther 2:7b (ESV). When she was presented to the King “the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown[b] on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.” Esther 2:17 (ESV)

Now Haman hated the Jews and planned to have them slaughtered. Mordecai, Esther’s uncle and the man who raised her discovered the plot and devised a plan to have Esther save the Jews. So, Esther ends up spoiling the plans of Haman by exposing him to the king. Instead of Mordecai being hung Haman was hung in his place and the Jews were saved.

So, as I look at the story of Esther and how God used her, I have hope that God will use me to accomplish His will. That is my hope that God will use me to advance His Kingdom.

I pray you will find God’s perfect plan for you as Esther did. I hope that you will learn to follow His guidance and do His will. Just like God used Esther, He will use you. It is through God using us that we find hope confident that we build a relationship with Him through Jesus we all have the opportunity to put our wrongs behind us a look with hope for the day He returns. He is there to forgive and forget because He is the one who cares for you no matter the situation and is the only way to truly start anew in this there is true hope. Understanding that Jesus is the only source of true hope. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross satisfied the penalty for my sins and yours as well. It satisfied all my sins from the past, in the present and in the future. My penalty and yours was satisfied on the cross by the death of Jesus, God’s greatest act of love and wrath, who became sin for me and you. It was also God’s greatest act of faithfulness because “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 (ESV) Because wisdom shows us, we need to believe in Jesus. I hope that you join me in helping others to choose Jesus.
