Hope Comes from an All-knowing God!

Do you believe in an all-knowing God? I do. Does it give you comfort and hope that God knows how you are going to act before you act? It does for me. Does knowing that God is all-knowing cause you to have a fear of Him? It does me. Why would you think that an all-knowing God is important to hope? Why is the all-knowing God the source for hope?  Let me share with you, what I have learned.

I have found that God’s knowledge of all things is impossible to understand it. As the apostle Paul says in Romans 11:33-35, “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

‘For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?’
‘Or who has given a gift to him
that he might be repaid?”’
(ESV)

I have found also that because of God’s knowledge I can know that He is in charge of everything that happens in my life. Whether I chose what is good or what is bad God does not leave me nor forsake me. When I am unfaithful, He remains faithful. This is true because God already knows how I am going to act from the beginning of time. “For his eyes are on the ways of a man, and he sees all his steps.” Job 34:21 (ESV) The comfort I find in knowing God is watching over me an is always faithful brings me hope in my times of need and my times of prosperity because every good thing comes from God and every bad thig God uses to make me perfect, complete and lacking in nothing.

It is because of His perfect knowledge that from the before the beginning of time God made a plan for us to be redeemed. He knew that man would rebel against Him and choose badly. Because of this knowledge He put in place away for man to be reconciled with Him. He made a plan that through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we might be reunited with God through faith. I pray you will accept that God is all-knowing and because of that is our source for true hope. It is by knowing God intimately that we have hope. The relationship with God through Jesus brings us hope in the present and for the future. I would also encourage you to seek Jesus for He is the only option there is to get eternal life. This is to me the greatest source of hope. In doing so, I believe we will have hope and joy during our everyday lives. Understanding that Jesus Christ allows us to access eternal life, “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” John 17:3 (ESV) This will allow us to have hope. At the same time understanding you will live eternally knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ and this will bring you the greatest hope. Because of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross satisfied the penalty for sins. His payment satisfies all my sins from the past, the present and in the future. My penalty and yours was satisfied on the cross by the death of Jesus, God’s greatest act of love and wrath, who became sin for me and you. It was also God’s greatest act of faithfulness because “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 (ESV) Because holiness shows us, we need to believe in Jesus. I hope that you join me in helping others to choose Jesus.
